I couldn't be more thankful for my readers, truly.

Sometime yesterday I hit 15,00o views on my little blog.

I know in the blog world that isn't very much, some people are getting that and more per day. But I am going to sit here and smile and be thankful to know you are enjoying this somewhere.

Okay, enough sappyness.

I have a few pretttttty exciting things coming up. Keeping things from you makes me want to BURST but I do have to be patient.

Here's my first news.

I am not really sure if you followed my Etsy, but my shop there and craft name has been "Little Green Bird". I still do desperately love this name but a few months ago I was thinking about it and when I sell the crafts greg always sits with me and he even sells some of his wooden animals and such. I was realizing that a lot of things I make now he plays some part in and he also is the tech master behind my whole blog. So we had made the decision to do a new shop together, under a new name...

Like I mentioned the other day, I am working on a few dolls and these will be the new tags hanging on them and anything else we have made by hand. I decided to keep "Little Green Bird" as strictly vintage selling (well and its my nickname) hehe.

My love deserves so much credit for all his support in my creativity, his own creativity, and lets be honest, for simply putting up with me and my whirlwind ideas.

I am very lucky to have such a good teammate.

I should be done with one of my dolls in a bit, I really hope to share it with you!

reminisce.

Recently when I was in jersey, my boy got down a large wooden box from the top shelf in which he explained he kept some special "jess" things. I'm sure I was smiling ear to ear when he handed it to me, I opened it and felt myself overflow. So many little things I have never thought twice about, that I considered nothing that he had scooped up brought home and preserved in this box.

There was one thing I had never shared on here but I was really in love when I made it.

I remember Maria telling me it was the best mini book I have ever made. Looking back I would have changed a few things of course, but I do love it, and do want to share it with you now.

I miss making simple things like this just because. They really help to motivate and inspire me so much. I hope you enjoyed a little look back!

Oh life.

So yet another week gets away from me!

I am so sorry for that, I think I really need to get into my summer groove. I promise to work harder at that. But for now he is another "life update" post so you can feel filled in:)

1. Being silly with kids in the morning always starts my day off right.

2. Wedding shower planning!! I am SO excited for this weekend!

3. Getting pumped for summer potluck!

4. Blog morning dates with myself.

5. Craft dates with Lisa, always such a pleasant way to spend my mornings.

6. Our friends bought a HOUSE! Were all helping get it ready:)

7. I have some commissioned dolls to make that I am super excited about.

8. Getting the shop ready again, fingers crossed I sit down and just DO IT!

So thats what I have been up to! I have been working on blogs all morning so they are all ready to go. You should be hearing from me MUCH more than last week.

I think the weeks just get busier in the summer. I am playing catch up and getting some posts ready for later in the week so it isnt so long between. Its hard to stay at my computer when the sunshine is just so inspiring!
